Due to its exceptional price/performance ratio, the UP 14 pneumatic crimp machine with scissor closing mechanism (and the special versions UP 14 BA (with hand lever) and UP 14 Z (with sequence control system)) is the ideal starter model for the mechanical processing of loose contacts. With a crimp force of around 1.4 tons, these ergonomic machines are able to process most small electrical contacts (wire-end ferrules up to 50 mm²) without any problems:

• Insulated compression cable lugs, 0.25 to 6 mm²
• Non-insulated cable lugs and crimp cable lugs, 0.5 to 16 mm²
• Insulated and non-insulated wire-end ferrules, 0.14 to 50 mm²
• Turned contacts, 0.14 to 16 mm²

The machines have been developed for small and medium-sized batches ("low volume – high mix") and offer a wide range of processing options due to the large selection of exchangeable dies and the quicker, simpler conversion to new applications. Even customer-specific solutions for special electrical contacts can be arranged following consultation.

The special UP 14 BA machine version is equipped with a hand lever for opening and closing the crimp insert in order to position the contact precisely, whilst the UP 14 Z has a sequence control system for further ensuring the process quality.
